Selank: Cell models and interpreting the research

What was investigated
A published study examined GABA-related gene expression in the human IMR-32 cell line after exposure to Selank. This is a cell experiment under defined conditions; measured transcript changes are initially molecular observations.
Gene expression is one outcome
Controls, exposure duration and the genes selected matter when reading such data. A change in RNA abundance alone establishes neither a corresponding protein change nor a particular behavioural effect.
Distinguishing vial and spray
The catalogue lists a 10 mg vial and a 10 mg nasal spray. Total content alone does not describe concentration, solvent or delivery per spray. A cell study does not automatically characterize the spray formulation offered.
